good job. you were pretty much right on the money with your assessments of the fighters last night. i was surprised at how good nog looked against randy. and yeah jardine has major problems with aggressive strikers that push forward on him.

But you start standing up, as you have realized. While you are waiting for the takedown, it is safer to keep the distance and avoid power punches using your jab and moving instead of throwing low kicks! How many times you have seen power over right hands after someone throw a low kick? So, unless you have one hell of a kick (which is not the case), he would be better off not kicking and using the jab. Thats my opinion.
i want to see hendo vs marq to get a number 1 contender so we dont have to waist andersons last 4 fights on people we have already seen him beat. have him face the winner of that fight in between beating people in superfights.
it was a great night of fights. wasnt happy since most of my favorites lost but it was still very entertaining. ed herman lost with that leg injury, leben i dont know what happened to him he needs to get back to work right away, and randy just got outclassed by nog. i picked vera and silva but still pretty disappointed. great vid as always.

lol… Yeah, low kicks are a really in close and tight strategy.
Nobody in history has ever used those to keep the distance in a fight.
Countering a jab is just as easy as countering a low kick, sir. Especially when you don’t know how to throw one. What limp is longer, your leg or your arm? Leg right? Well keeping him almost at legs length is farther away than keeping him at a jab length, per your strategy.
He should have closed the distance and clinched, but thats just me.

Nog should get the winner of Lesnar/Carwin, given that we can now see his awful showing against Mir was due to being wiped out from staph.
