Respect is one of those things which is difficult to define. The popularity, size and money making ability of the UFC may gain more respect for MMA/UFC than Dana White’s actions. Do you think states legalize MMA because they like Dana? I’m guessing that its far more about money than it is about one particular person. If Bill Gates was an idiot, do you think the world wouldn’t take Microsoft seriously or show respect? Getting the UFC/MMA this far in 7 years is hard to find fault with.
now I dont think Dana’s action is any different then how Don King acted The main porblem I see is that the old is still
how some look at it…and miss how the skills they have and the respect they give each other..and now that we are going international will help…. now if we can keep idoits from get drunk and tearing up houses on TUF will help out.but all in all as ppl watch and start to see the skill and respect that fighters give after fight it will be apprecated
